We are pleased to announce the return of the beloved annual North End Holiday Home Tour! Neighbors and visitors will enjoy a self-guided stroll through some of the North End’s most unique homes, from a block of stately Queen Annes on the National Register of Historic Places, to a newly remodeled 725-square-foot tiny house.

The tour will include eight homes, all within 1 mile of each other. We encourage guests to park their cars and walk or ride the route. Tickets can be picked up at Goody’s in Hyde Park, and if you walk from there, it’s an easy 1.5-mile loop.

This year’s Holiday Home Tour is a fundraiser for NENA’s new partnership with the local non-profit Jesse Tree, which provides a hand up to people experiencing a financial crisis, empowering them to remain in their homes. NENA recently created a dedicated fund for Jesse Tree that is used to assist North End residents who may be facing eviction.

Tickets are $20 if purchased in advance online ($25 on the day of the tour), and kids under 12 are free. Tickets are available online until Dec. 13. Tour maps & admission wristbands can be picked up ONLY on Dec. 14 at Goody’s, 1502 N. 13th St.

The tour is centered on the Hays Street Historic District. Five large historic homes share a two-block radius, and three additional homes are near Hyde Park, all within 1 mile. You may visit the homes in any order. If you park near Goody’s and walk to each house, it will be an easy 1.5-mile loop. Home locations will be disclosed when you pick up your tour map on Dec. 14.

Your paid tour wristband will get you discounts at Uncorked Wine Bar, Goody’s ice cream shop, and G. Williker’s toy store on the day of the tour. You are also invited to attend the annual “Christmas at the Cathedral” concert at Cathedral of the Rockies, happening the same day & in the same neighborhood. It is free for everyone and begins at 4:30 p.m. The church is across the street from the last houses on the tour. Learn more at cathedraloftherockies.org/catc.

We encourage tour guests to carpool, walk, or ride to the tour if possible. On-street parking is free and plentiful throughout the North End. If you’d like to walk the tour, your best option is to park in the Hyde Park neighborhood and begin your tour from there. Please note that due to the 4:30 concert at Cathedral of the Rockies, parking will be difficult in the Hays Street Historic District in the latter part of the afternoon. If you must drive, visiting these homes earlier in the day is a good idea!
