Getting to Hyde Park Street Fair

Traffic and parking can be extremely challenging on the North End's narrow and congested neighborhood streets during Fair weekend. We urge you to consider an alternative mode of transportation, and have partnered with the City of Boise, Valley Regional Transit, and Lime Scooters to make getting to the Fair easier and more accessible. North End residents appreciate your help in making this a fun & successful event for all!

BICYCLES: A free bike corral is available during Fair hours. LOCKS ARE NOT PROVIDED. Anyone parking their bike in the corral will receive a raffle ticket entry to win a FREE Electra Cruiser GO e-bike (retails for $1,500!) courtesy of Idaho Mountain Touring. The bike will be raffled off on Sunday afternoon, with the winning name announced from the Main Stage. Winners do not need to be present. No purchase necessary. Raffle entries are available by non-bike riders at the Bike Corral or at the North End Neighborhood Association Information Booth.

VALLEY REGIONAL TRANSIT: Using Boise's bus system is easy and encouraged! Hop on anywhere VRT service is available (downtown parking garages are easy and offer ample parking as well as close proximity to VRT stops), and hop off at 13th & Ridenbaugh for a quick and easy two-block walk into the park. Do the reverse route to get back to return to your vehicle. VRT service is available on standard routes from 5:30am to 9:30pm on weekdays and 7:00am to 9:30pm on Saturdays. There is no service on Sundays.

A dedicated park & ride lot will be available SATURDAY ONLY at the school parking lot located at 300 W Fort Street. VRT busses will be picking up directly across Fort Street from the school lot on Saturday and dropping off at 13th & Ridenbaugh, about two blocks from the Fair. Do the reverse route to get back to the park & ride lot. Park & Ride busses will run every 30 minutes during the following hours:

Saturday: 9:45am - 9:55 (Free Fare)

Sunday: NO SERVICE

*Due to school activities, the park & ride lot at 300 W Fort Street is not available on Friday.

**Please note that VRT bus service will NOT be available on Sunday.

UBER/LYFTThere is a designated drop-off/pick-up spot adjacent to Camel's Back Park on 13th Street North of Heron Streetfor anyone who uses a rideshare to arrive or depart from the park.

LIME SCOOTERS: Lime scooters can be ridden to and from the park for easy access. At the park, please ensure you are leaving your scooter at the designated drop-off area located on the East end of the park, near the tennis courts, to help us avoid accessibility and emergency access issues. Lime representatives will be on hand to ensure scooters are available & charged.
