Event starts at 6:30 pm at Goody's in Hyde Park and includes a visit with carols, cocoa, and a visit with Santa Claus! Children of all ages will carry hand-crafted candle lanterns through Hyde Park while spreading cheer with professional carol singers!
Please pick up a FREE candle lantern kit in advance anytime between now & 12/14 from Goody's in Hyde Park. Simply ask the wonderful Goody's staff for as many kits as you need, and then craft lanterns at home before the event - but don't forget to bring them along on the 14th.
Lantern kits will include everything needed to craft lanterns, except glue. At home, glue the tissue paper squares onto the provided clear plastic cup to create a stained-glass type of design. Pipe cleaners are used as handles, and a battery-operated tea light is included. Get creative - the more unique the better!
