Preservation, Renewed

The City of Boise is working to update the Historic Preservation Plan - originally created in 1979 - to make it a relevant guiding document for current and future historic preservation initiatives and practices for the Historic Preservation Commission and City of Boise.

The city is working with historic preservation consultant Northwest Vernacular to update the document, which will include reviewing the city's existing program, gathering community input, and making recommendations on a path forward. This survey is community input is being gathered to learn more about the historic places that are important to residents, and how to improve the city's work in regard to those places.
